Visit Dr. Ken Lamkin, an old fashioned family doctor with over 35 years of experience. 

Dr. Lamkin offers an alternative for adults and for a limited number of children under 18 years of age with intractable epilepsy and cancer.  His services provide the patient with an evaluation that includes a clinical diagnosis when appropriate, and patient education designed to help the patient cope with his or her medical condition, but not medical treatment.

About Dr. Ken
Kenneth R. Lamkin, MD is a residency trained family physician with over 35 years of experience in the Denver Area.  He has been Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice and passed his recertification examination by the American Board of Family Practice on two occasions.

Dr. Lamkin graduated from the University of Massachusetts, cum laude.  He acquired his medical degree at Meharry Medical Center in 1973, and was selected for the honorary academic fraternity, Alpha Omega Alpha. 

In addition, he is a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, and was a Fellow at the AAMC-PHS International Fellowship Program at Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem.  He served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy, in 2006 and 2007.  He is a member of the staff of Exempla Lutheran Medical Center.

In 2009 he worked as a consultant for the State of Colorado performing independent medical examinations for social security disability applicants. 

Currently Dr. Lamkin is in private practice as a medical consultant primarily for patients applying for the Colorado Medical Marijuana Registry. From 2009 through October of 2015, Dr. Lamkin was in private practice as a medical consultant

ANNOUNCEMENT:  Dr. Lamkin is retiring from medical practice effective 10/31/2015.  He will begin a new phase of his life emphasizing family, travel, and new and creative activities to be determined.

To obtain your medical records mail or email a signed and dated authorization requesting release of your medical records to a fax or email address at no charge.  To have your records mailed to you there will be a $10 charge if there are more than a few pages and I have to go to the post office.
